My blog has been relatively quiet, but my sewing machine has not. It was busy all December cranking out holiday gifts. And now that the gifts are given, I can share some of them with you. First up, table runners.
I made two quilted table runners, one for each of my sibling/sibling-in-law’s families. The first one I made used happy red and green fabric scraps from last year’s quilted Christmas tree skirt. Whoops, I don’t think I ever blogged about that one. Maybe another time. I made some half square triangle blocks and assembled them into a rather mod Christmas tree pattern. It was fun and quick and really satisfying to basically ad-lib a quilting project.
Table Runner Two was inspired by a cool tree runner I found when google searching “Christmas tree table runner”. Thank you google, and thank you May Chappell! This one was also all from my stash: green scraps from a few previous quilt projects and a cool mustard colored partridge-in-a-peartree-esque fabric I squirreled away many months ago. This one is pretty non Christmasy, but festive enough.
Linking up for a Friday Finish at Crazy Mom Quilts!
