Honeybee Flowers Churn Dash Quilt

Churn Dash Baby Quilt

My latest baby quilt has arrived safely at its new home, just in time to welcome baby Mielle.  This one might be my favorite to date, though it seems every finished baby quilt is my favorite to date.  I followed this fantastic Churn Dash quilt-along tutorial over at We All Sew.  About a year ago I purchased a jelly roll of adorable pink, red and aqua fabrics at my local fabric store.  I had no specific use for it, but with a clearance sticker, why not buy it?  I swapped in a couple prints from my stash and purchased the hot pink Lisette popsicles print for the back, because this quilt would be headed to southern Florida and needed a little summer punch.  My first time quilting a diagonal grid pattern and I love the result.
