Scrappy Patchwork Lap Quilt

Well, it may be Memorial Day weekend, but it’s cold and rainy here in Vermont, so instead of gardening, bike riding, or grilling, I’ve been hunkered down in my dry sewing room.  I pieced together this quick lap quilt from an old sheet, a shirt destined for the Salvation Army, and some leftover seersucker.  Behold, one lovely sunny lavender lap quilt top to brighten this chilly gray day.  I’ll post a finished shot once I get some batting and quilt it all up.
