Well, it may be Memorial Day weekend, but it’s cold and rainy here in Vermont, so instead of gardening, bike riding, or grilling, I’ve been hunkered down in my dry sewing room. I pieced together this quick lap quilt from an old sheet, a shirt destined for the Salvation Army, and some leftover seersucker. Behold, one lovely sunny lavender lap quilt top to brighten this chilly gray day. I’ll post a finished shot once I get some batting and quilt it all up.
